MAGNOLIA, Del.- Delaware State Police have arrested a man wanted in connection with a June shooting in Magnolia.

Denzel D. Braker, 20, of Dover, was taken into custody by the U.S. Marshal's Fugitive Task Force on Monday, Dec. 28, and turned over to detectives at DSP Troop 3.  He was arrested on warrants charging him with first- and second-degree assault, possession of a deadly weapon during the commission of a felony, and four counts of first-degree reckless endangering. He was ordered held in the James T. Vaughn Correctional Center on $127,500 cash bond.

Police said the crime happened just before 9 p.m. Saturday, June 13, at a home on the 300 block of Marshview Terrace in Magnolia. Troopers said Braker got into a dispute with a 20-year-old man during a party at the home. Police said that is when Braker pulled out a handgun and assaulted the 20-year-old. Braker then allegedly shot a 30-year-old man before fleeing the scene, according to investigators.

Both victims were treated at the hospital for non-life threatening injuries, police said.
