Suspect Arrested in Easton Armed Robbery

Posted: Updated:

EASTON, Md.- The suspect of an Easton armed robbery was taken into custody in neighboring Anne Arundel County after a spree of crimes spanning the Midshore, according to police.

An arrest warrant was issued by the Easton Police Department for 33-year-old Andre Moses Jr., of Easton, following a Dec. 19 Econo Lodge robbery.

Moses had already been arrested and detained in the Anne Arundel County Detention Center for three other armed robberies in that county.

Police said that at about 2 a.m. Dec. 19, Moses is alleged to have entered the Econo Lodge, brandished a handgun, and fled the hotel with an undisclosed amount of money.

Moses was linked to the Easton robbery when investigators from Easton and Anne Arundel County executed a search warrant on his Easton home and found evidence linking him to the robbery, according to police.
