GEORGETOWN, Del. (AP/WBOC)- Those interested in getting married by the end of 2015 in Sussex County can still do so.

Clerk of the Peace John Brady says that the license to get married must be obtained by Wednesday in order to tie the knot by Dec. 31.

Brady says doing so qualifies a couple for tax breaks in the current year.

The service costs $50 for in-state couples, but there is no charge for members of the military.

Brady says he is conducting eight weddings so far Thursday, but more ceremonies can be arranged by calling (302) 853-1717 during the hours of 8:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday. Click here for more information.
