Worcester County Fire Marshal Investigating House Fire in Berlin

BERLIN, Md.-  The Worcester County Fire Marshal's Office is investigating a house fire in Berlin..

According to the Berlin Fire Company, it happened around 3:30 p.m. on Greenbriar Drive.

Chief Jimmy Corron tells WBOC five people were home, including three children, but no one was injured in the fire. The Red Cross is now assisting the family.

Corron says it took several fire companies about and hour and a half to put out the fire. Bishopville Volunteer Fire Department, Showell Volunteer Fire Department, Ocean Pines Fire Department and the Ocean City Fire Department all assisted.

The Fire Marshal's Office is still working to determine the cause of the fire.
