MAGNOLIA, De.- Delaware State Police say they have arrested a man who tried to rob a pharmacy in Magnolia, threatening the pharmacists with explosives.

Police say around 9:30 Saturday morning, 26 year old Curtis Kuhn of Lewes entered the Walgreens in Magnolia and placed a note on the pharmacy counter, demanding Percocet and Xanax in a bag.  Police say Kuhn told the 42 year old woman behind the counter that he had explosives strapped to him, and that if he didn't get the drugs, he, along with everyone else, would be blown up.  Police say Kuhn also told the woman that he was being forced to do this by someone in a car in the parking lot.

Police say within three minutes of the call, they were at the pharmacy and arrested Kuhn without incident.  A search found no explosives on him, and no car in the parking lot matching his description.  The 42 year old and another 30 year old woman behind the counter were not hurt.

Kuhn was taken back to Troop 3 and charged with Attempted Robbery 1st, Attempted Theft of a Controlled Substance, and two counts of Terroristic Threatening.  He was committed to the James T. Vaughn Correctional Center on $27,000 secured bond.  He has been ordered to have no contact with any Walgreens in the state of Delaware.
