Del. AG's Office Seeks Parents of Children who Attended Handy's Little Disciples

MILLSBORO, Del. - The Delaware Attorney General's Office wants to talk to parents who had children attend a daycare that is at the center of a homicide investigation in Millsboro.

According to police, a 10-month-old child died at Handy's Little Disciples Daycare in Jan. 2015. Valorie Handy, 51, of Millsboro, was indicted on July 27 on one charge of Murder by Abuse or Neglect 1st Degree in the death of the baby who was in her care.

The death has been ruled a homicide and the investigation by the homicide unit detectives is ongoing, police said.

The Attorney General's Office is working with Delaware State Police and would like to speak with the parents or guardians of any children who have ever attended this daycare.

Handy pleaded not guilty to the charges in August.
