Two Centreville Businesses Burglarized Overnight; Suspects Sought

CENTREVILLE, Md.- Police are searching for a suspect wanted for breaking into and stealing items from two Centreville businesses early Wednesday morning.

According to the Centreville Police Department, officers responded to By the Beach Tanning located in Unit G of 2478 Centreville Road shortly before 2 a.m.

Police said that when they arrived, the back door of the business was open. Officers soon learned Diana Nails, in Unit F, had also been burglarized. Police said someone had created a hole in the wall between the two businesses. Both establishments were ransacked, and money and other items had been stolen, according to police.

The Maryland State Police Crime Lab is assisting in the ongoing investigation.

Tim Robinson of the Wicomico County Sheriff's Office said around 11 a.m., the Sheriff's Office, in conjunction with Wicomico County Animal Control, began an investigation into the report of the presence of deceased horses on the property outside of Hebron.
