CAMBRIDGE, Md. - Fire officials are investigating an early Thursday morning electrical fire at a home in Cambridge.

According to the Maryland State Fire Marshal's Office, an occupant of a two story single-family home on Dunns Court discovered the fire around 2:45 a.m. when smoke alarms were activated.

Fire officials say the fire was accidental and started in the attic. Damage is estimated at about $16,000.

It took 15 firefighters about 20 minutes to get the blaze under control, according to investigators. There were no reported injuries.
