BERLIN, Md.- A Powerball ticket worth $1 million was sold at the Food Lion grocery store in Berlin on Saturday. The ticket sold was one number away from making the lucky owner a near billionaire.

No one won the grand prize, the largest in U.S. history. And despite the exciting news, the winner has yet to claim the $1 million prize. Food Lion Manager Donald Walsh said the experience has been awesome.

"The greatest feeling is people are definitely excited, but it's also nice to know one of my great shoppers has won that prize," Walsh said. He said he doesn't know who the lucky winner is and the buzz about the news has brought an increase of customers to the store.

"We're definitely seeing an influx of people coming in buying tickets. It's a great excitement, they just want to get that lucky chance," Walsh said.

Kimberly Ulmer works in the area near Food Lion and said she was excited when she heard the news.

"I'm in the store frequently and I didn't purchase a ticket; but it's very exciting for something like that to happen here," Ulmer said.

Maryland Lottery officials said the winner has 182 days to claim the prize.
