UNDATED- Multiple police agencies are investigating a new round of bomb threats called into several public schools across Delmarva.

In Delaware, state police said the following schools have been evacuated and there are state and local police K9s responding.

- Millsboro Middle School, 302 East State St., Millsboro

- Beacon Middle School, 19483 John J. Williams Highway, Lewes

DSP spokesman Master Cpl. Greg Fournier said investigations are also being conducted by the Dover, Greenwood and Milford police departments for similar incidents that occurred at schools within their jurisdictions. He also said the FBI is aware of the threats.

In Maryland, students were evacuated Tuesday morning from Ocean City Elementary after a bomb threat was called into the school. Delmar Elementary School also received a bomb threat in the form of an automated called Tuesday morning, according to Tracy Sahler, a spokesperson for Wicomico County Public Schools. Sahler said an investigation and thorough search were conducted while students and staff remained in a safe in place status. Nothing was found in the search and school will continue throughout the day with enhanced law enforcement presence, Sahler said.

Maryland State Police spokesman Greg Shipley said the bomb threats made to the state's schools are being investigated by local law enforcement and the FBI has also been made aware. According to Shipley, the charge of false statement regarding a destructive device is a felony, punishable by 10 years in prison or a $10,000 fine, or both.

Tuesday's bomb threats follow eight others called into schools across Delmarva on Monday.
