One Person Dead in Millsboro Crash

MILLSBORO, Del. (WBOC/AP)- Delaware State Police say one person is dead after a two-vehicle crash in Millsboro.
    
Police said in a statement that the crash happened at around 5:40 p.m. Tuesday on Mt. Joy Road just north of Cordrey Road. Troopers said that for unknown reasons the driver of a Honda Accord, Ryan M. Leonardo, 42, of Millsboro, crossed the center line of the road and into the path of a Chevrolet Blazer.
    
Police said the 65-year-old driver of the Chevrolet Blazer, Lester L. Thompson of Millsboro, was not wearing a seatbelt and was taken to Beebe Healthcare where he was pronounced dead. Police said Leonardo was wearing a seatbelt and was also taken to Beebe where he was admitted with non-life-threatening injuries.
    
Police said an investigation is continuing and that no charges have been filed.
