HEBRON, Md.- A home was left severely damaged following a fire Wednesday afternoon.

The Salisbury Fire Department said firefighters responded to the fire just after 3 p.m. at a home on Opal Court.

According to firefighters, the second crew that arrived immediately went inside the home to try to put out the flames.

However, firefighters said the second crew was evacuated from the home when the fire began to spread.

Firefighters said the aggressive fire caused the house to partially collapse.

Fire crews said when this happened, they pulled back from the home and performed defensive operations to make sure the fire was completely extinguished.

Firefighters said they were at the scene until just before 6 p.m. after extinguishing the fire.

No injuries were reported.

There is no word yet on how much damage the fire caused or what started the blaze.
