2nd Passenger in Milford Van Crash Dies

MILFORD, Del. (AP) - Delaware State Police say another passenger injured in a van crash in Milford has died.
    
Troopers said in a news release Monday that 29-year-old Virginio Lopez of Milford died Saturday at Christiana Hospital, where he was flown after Thursday's crash.
    
Police say 37-year-old Julio Garcia of Milford was driving the van south on Bay Road when the vehicle drifted into the median and hit a road sign.
    
Officers say Garcia overcorrected, drove off the road and hit a tree.
    
Troopers say 31-year-old Ruben Martinez of Milford, a passenger, was pronounced dead at the scene.
    
Authorities say Garcia was treated and released at a local hospital.
    
The crash is under investigation.

    Authorities investigate after at least 25 dead horses were found on a rural property in Wicomico County, Maryland Friday morning. Lt. Tim Robinson of the Wicomico County Sheriff's Office said around 11 a.m., the Sheriff's Office, in conjunction with Wicomico County Animal Control, began an investigation into the report of the presence of deceased horses on the property outside of Hebron.
