SALISBURY, Md. - Salisbury Police are searching for two suspects wanted for a Sunday afternoon shooting.

According to police, officers were called to a home in the 700 block of Shiloh Street at around 4:30 p.m. for a reported shooting. When they arrived, they found a 40-year-old man suffering from a non-life-threatening gunshot wound to his lower abdomen.

Police say that their initial investigation revealed the victim was standing in the doorway of his home when two masked men approached him. According to detectives, the suspects attempted to push the man back into his home, while one of them removed a handgun and shot the victim once in the lower abdomen.

Police say the suspects then ran from the home. A Salisbury police K-9 was unsuccessful in locating them.

The victim is being treated for serious injuries at PRMC.

Anyone with information about the shooting is asked to contact the Salisbury Police Department Criminal Investigation Division at (410) 548-3113 or Crime Solvers at (410) 548-1776.
