Four Queen Anne's Co. Women Arrested for Shoplifting

Posted: Updated:

CENTREVILLE, Md.- Four Queen Anne's County women have been arrested for shoplifting after police say they stole thousands of dollars of merchandise from the Queenstown Premium Outlets.

Troopers from the Maryland State Police Centreville Barrack said they became aware of the shoplifting on Dec. 14. Over the course of a month-long investigation, troopers said they discovered the suspects were stealing from multiple stores, then returning the stolen items in exchange for gift cards, which they then pawned at local pawn shops in Queen Anne's County.

According to police, the stores involved included Under Armour, Adidas, Reebok, Pacsun, Aeropostle, Guess and Bath and Body Works. Troopers said one of the suspects, 33-year-old Natasha Washington of Queenstown, was a Reebok employee and helped the suspects with thefts from that outlet.

The other suspects have been identified as 23-year-old Sara Owens, 25-year-old Lauren Rogers and 28-year-old Amanda Strade, all from Stevensville, according to police.
