SALISBURY, Md.- Salisbury police are searching for two suspects wanted in connection with a Saturday morning home invasion.

Police said it happened at a home on the 500 block of Christopher Street. Officers said two victims were home at the time, an 88-year-old woman and a 65-year-old man.

Police said shortly after the victims returned home, two suspects also entered the home through an open and unlocked door. As the victims tried to get the suspects to leave, police said one suspect pushed the woman to the side and into a wall. The second suspect then struck the man in the face.

According to police, the suspects stole items before they ran away. Salisbury Police Department K-9 Meso assisted in the investigation and conducted a K-9 track, which police said did not reveal additional evidence.

Police described the first suspect as a black male in his early 20s, approximately 6-foot-tall, thin build and wearing dark clothing. The second suspect was described as a black male in his early 20s, approximately 5-foot-8, stocky build and wearing dark clothing.

The investigation is ongoing and police are asking anyone who may have information concerning this investigation to contact Crime Solvers of the Lower Eastern Shore at (410) 548- 1776, or the Salisbury Police Department at (410) 548-3165.

Crime Solvers is offering a reward of up to $2,000 for information that leads to the arrest of the two suspects involved in this crime.
