DSP Investigate Robbery at WSFS Bank in Rehoboth

REHOBOTH BEACH, Del. - Delaware State Police are investigating a bank robbery that happened Monday afternoon in Rehoboth Beach.

Troopers said it happened just before 2 p.m. Monday at the WSFS Bank on Coastal Highway. The investigation revealed that a man entered the bank, approached a female teller and handed her a demand note fore cash, according to police. Troopers said the teller complied with the suspect's demands and turned over an undisclosed amount of money. The man then took off in an unknown direction, police said. 

No injuries were reported.

The suspect was described as a white male 25-30 years of age, 5'07"-5’08" tall, and was last seen wearing a black hooded sweatshirt with a tan coat and blue jeans, according to police.  No weapon was displayed.
 
This incident remains under investigation by the Delaware State Police.
