Dover Police Arrest Trio on Drug Charges

DOVER, Del.- Dover police say three people are facing a variety of drug charges following an investigation into alleged drug sales from a hotel room.

Police said that on Friday afternoon officers learned that 44-year-old Willie Hale was selling crack cocaine from a hotel room on North DuPont Highway. Police said that while conducting surveillance, officers observed 39-year-old Heather Lediger enter the room and leave quickly.

Officers then conducted a traffic stop which resulted in the search of her vehicle. Police said that during the search, officers discovered over 450 prescription pills, .6 grams of crack cocaine, and $696 in cash.  Lediger was taken into custody without incident and charged with five counts of possession with intent to deliver cocaine, five counts of possession with intent to deliver prescription medication, two counts of possession of prescription medication without a prescription and possession of drug paraphernalia. She was released on $92,000 unsecured bond.

Following the traffic stop, officers got and executed a search warrant on the room at the hotel. Police said Hale and 31-year-old Allysa Tosson were both inside the room and taken into custody without incident. Investigators said a search of the room led to the discovery of 2.9 grams of crack cocaine, a digital scale, packaging material, and $1,183.00 in cash that was suspected drug proceeds.

Hale was charged with possession with intent to deliver cocaine, delivery of cocaine, possession of drug paraphernalia and second-degree conspiracy and released on $18,000 unsecured bond.

Tosson was charged with intent to deliver cocaine, possession of drug paraphernalia and second-degree conspiracy and released on $15,000 unsecured bond.
