Two Arrested in Milford Drug Bust

MILFORD, Del.- Milford police arrested two people after a drug bust Thursday night.

After investigating for months, police say they executed search warrants on a car and home on Pine Tree Lane.

There, police say they seized seized 86 bags of heroin and 79.3 grams of marijuana along with digital scales and over $2,400 in cash. Police say An 11-year-old child had also been residing at the residence. 

Police arrested 43-year-old Lanier Wheatherly and 34-year-old Lauren Merchant, both of Milford.

They are both charged with possession with the intent to deliver marijuana, possession with the intent to deliver heroin, endangering the welfare of a child, conspiracy 2nd-degree and possession of drug paraphernalia. 

Wheatherly was arraigned and committed to SCI in default of $23,500 cash bond. Merchant was arraigned and committed to WCI in default of $23,500 cash bond.
