FRUITLAND, Md.- Authorities have ruled as accidental a Monday night fire that caused tens of thousands of dollars in damage to a mobile home in southern Wicomico County.

The Maryland State Fire Marshal's Office said that at around 7:30 p.m. Bruce Jones discovered that fire at his one-story mobile home located at 4047 Joseph Drive near Fruitland.

It took 30 firefighters from Fruitland, Allen and Salisbury Station 1 approximately an hour to get the blaze under control. There were no reported injuries.

The fire caused an estimated $40,000 in damage to the structure and another $5,000 in damage to its contents.

Investigators determined the fire started in a bedroom and was caused by an in-home oxygen machine.
