EASTON, Md.- A Talbot County man is behind bars after police say he attempted to solicit sex from an undercover agent he thought was a minor.
According to the Easton Police Department, 51-year-old Gary Graham of Cordova was arrested Friday and charged with sexual solicitation of a minor, distribution of obscene material and attempted sex offense.
Police said they caught Graham through a joint investigation with the Hurlock Police Department, in which Graham befriended an undercover officer posing as a minor on social media. According to police, Graham had several conversations with the officer and solicited the officer for sex after learning the age of the person he was pretending to be. At that point, police said they got an arrest warrant for Graham.
Following his arrest on the aforementioned charges, Graham was taken before a Talbot County District Court Commissioner and ordered held on $15,000 bond.
