"MUSIC" Successfully Launched from NASA Wallops Island

WALLOPS ISLAND, Va.- The Multiple User Suborbital Instrument Carrier, also known as "MUSIC," payload successfully launched Tuesday's from NASA's Wallops Island Flight Facility on the Eastern Shore of Virginia. 

According to Wallops spokesman Keith Koehler, the rocket successfully launched at 9:50 a.m. on a Terrier-Improved Malemute suborbital sounding rocket. Preliminary analysis shows good data was received, and payload recovery is in progress. 

The next launched scheduled at Wallops is between 7 and 10 a.mm. Mon., March 7, Three space technology payloads will be carried on a Terrier-Improved Orion suborbital sounding rocket.
