SMYRNA, Del. (AP) - New Castle city police have arrested a man they say hit a woman with his vehicle and dumped her body in a parking lot in October.

Police arrested 31-year-old Dustin M. Brown on charges of manslaughter and leaving the scene of a collision causing death. He was arraigned Tuesday and taken to the James T. Vaughn Correctional Center near Smyrna.

Senior Lt. Adam P. Brams says that police believe he struck the woman on a street in the late evening or early morning hours of Oct. 5 or Oct. 6. Police found the body of 23-year-old Kimberly Quade on the morning of Oct. 6 near gas pumps at a parking lot of Airport Plaza Shopping Center in Hares Corner.

It's unclear if Brown has an attorney for comment.
