Cambridge Police Search for Shooting Suspect

CAMBRIDGE, Md. - The Cambridge Police Department is looking for a suspect in a Monday night shooting.

According to police, a call came in at about 11:16 p.m. for a gunshot victim in the area of Park Lane and Rigby Avenue. Police discovered a victim who was shot in the leg. The victim told police a vehicle came up to the intersection, he heard shots and then realized he was hit in the leg.  Police said the victim was unable to give any further description of the suspects or the vehicle involved.

The victim was taken to Peninsula Regional Medical Center for treatment and is in stable condition at this time, police said.
