Arrest Made, Suspect Sought in Milford Armed Home Invasion

MILFORD, Del.- A Harrington man has been charged in connection with an armed home invasion and robbery in Milford.

According to Milford police, the incident happened Monday at a home on the 500 block of North Church Street. Officers said 34-year-old Marlo Tolliver and another unknown suspect forced their way into the house while armed with handguns.

Police say the two suspects restrained a 36-year-old man and assaulted him, then forced a 25-year-old woman into a room inside the home. While Tolliver and the other suspect were taking personal items from the male victim, the woman was able to run away and call police, officers said.

The suspects were gone by the time police arrived, but Tolliver was later found by Delaware state troopers and returned to the custody of Milford police.

According to police, Tolliver was charged with the following:

  • Home Invasion
  • Robbery
  • Kidnapping
  • Possession of a deadly weapon during the commission of a felony
  • Possession of a firearm by a person prohibited
  • Possession of a weapon in a school safe zone
  • Reckless endangering
  • Conspiracy
  • Assault
  • Criminal mischief under $1,000
  • Unlawful Imprisonment
  • Wearing a disguise during the commission of a felony
  • Criminal impersonation of a police officer

He was committed to the Sussex Correctional Institution on $240,500 secured bond.

Police said the investigation into the incident is ongoing.
