Driver Charged in Crash that Left 8 People Injured

BRIDGEVILLE, Del.- A Harrington man is facing charges in connection with a crash that left eight people injured in Bridgeville.

Delaware State Police said it happened just after 7:30 p.m. Saturday at the intersection of Oak and Apple Tree road. Troopers said 30-year-old Terrence Harrison, of Harrington failed to stop at a posted stop sign and proceeded into the intersection. Police say Harrison’s vehicle was then struck by another car driven by Pablo Busto-Rofal, 30, of Lincoln. 
 
Busto-Rofal, as well as a 1-year-old girl in the vehicle, were removed from the scene by EMS and transported to the Nanticoke Memorial Hospital where they were treated for non-life-threatening injuries. An 8-year-old boy in the car was also transported to Nanticoke Memorial before being taken to the A.I. DuPont Hospital where he was admitted for his injuries. Two other adults in the car were transported to the Milford Memorial Hospital where they were treated for their injuries, according to police. 
 
Two adults in Harrison's car were taken to the hospital and treated for non-life-threatening injuries. Harrison was admitted for non-life-threatening injuries. 

Troopers have obtained warrants charging Harrison with driving under the influence of alcohol, four counts of first-degree vehicular assault, three counts of second-degree vehicular assault, and assorted other charges. He will be formally arrested upon his release from the hospital.
