Police: Dover Man Arrested after Heroin, Cocaine Found in Car

DOVER, Del.- Police say a traffic stop led to the arrest of a Dover man after officers located more than 160 bags of heroin, along with crack cocaine, marijuana and suspected drug money in his car. 

According to the Dover Police Department, officers ended a joint drug investigation with the arrest of 23-year-old Pierre Foreman during a traffic stop in the 400 block of North DuPont Highway shortly after 4 p.m. Thursday, April 7. During a search of his vehicle, police said they discovered 21.4 grams of raw heroin, 161 bags of heroin totaling 2.415 grams, 1.1 grams of crack cocaine, .3 grams of marijuana and $1,391 in suspected drug proceeds.

Foreman was taken into custody without incident and committed to the James T. Vaughn Correctional Center on $106,501 cash bond, charged with tier 5 heroin possession, possession with intent to deliver heroin, possession with intent to deliver crack cocaine, possession of marijuana, driving while suspended and possession of drug paraphernalia.

The Dover Police Department Drugs, Vice and Organized Crime Unit, along with members of the Delaware State Police Governor's Task Force/Drug Unit, worked together on this drug investigation.
