HARRINGTON, Del.- Police in Harrington say officers discovered a mobile meth lab in a vehicle while responding to a domestic dispute call.

Harrington Police Capt. Earl Brode said officers were called to the parking lot of Holiday Inn on South DuPont Highway on Sunday afternoon after witnesses said a woman and child were yelling for help and a naked man was standing nearby before driving away in a pickup truck.

Brode said officers were able to find the driver, 36-year-old Jeffrey K. Korell of Henderson, Md., and searched his pickup after observing injuries on the face of a woman who was inside it.

Authorities said a cooler inside the pickup contained multiple items and ingredients used to manufacture methamphetamine. Police said officers also located two large knives, a small amount of marijuana, eight suboxone strips and drug paraphernalia inside the truck.

Korell was charged with second-degree assault, possession of a controlled substance in a Tier 5 quantity, operate or attempt to operate a clandestine laboratory, possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, two counts of possession of a controlled substance and two counts of carrying a concealed deadly weapon. He was ordered held in the Sussex Correctional Institute in default of $19,500 secured bond.
