Cambridge Man Arrested in Drug Bust

CAMBRIDGE, Md.- Authorities say a raid on a Cambridge man's home led to his arrest after a variety of illegal drugs and firearms were found inside.  

Dorchester County Sheriff James Phillips said that on Friday, April 8, members of his office's criminal division, assisted by the Dorchester County Narcotics Task Force and the Cambridge Police Department, executed a search and seizure warrant at 600 Muir St., Apt. C in Cambridge. 

The sheriff said the target of the investigation, 23-year-old Dor’ron Markal Taylor of the aforementioned address, was located inside. According to Phillips, a search of the home revealed 17 Zanex pills, 127 grams of marijuana packaged for sale, 1.2 grams of cocaine, .4 grams of heroin, $485 in cash, five cellphones, 107 small unused plastic baggies, two electronic scales, a stun gun, a stolen 9mm pistol, a .22-caliber rifle, 410-gauge shotgun and numerous live rounds of ammunition for the weapons. 

Taylor was charged with possession of a firearm during a drug trafficking crime, possession of marijuana with intent to distribute, illegal possession of a regulated firearm, possession of a stolen firearm, possession of marijuana, possession of cocaine, possession of heroin, four counts of possession of CDS paraphernalia, possession of Zanex and removing the label from a prescription bottle. He was ordered held without bond.
