Trump to Campaign in Delaware

Posted: Updated:

HARRINGTON, Del. (WBOC/AP)- Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump is not only scheduled to host a rally on the Eastern Shore of Maryland this evening, but is also set to speak in central Delaware later this week.

According to Trump's campaign website, the GOP front runner will hold a rally at the Delaware State Fairgrounds in Harrington. The event is scheduled to start at 3 p.m. at the Quillen Arena, with doors opening at noon.

It is rare for a major presidential candidate to visit Delaware ahead of the state's presidential primary vote on Tuesday. But Trump is seeking the state's 16 pledged delegates in a battle that could see Texas Sen. Ted Cruz and Ohio Gov. John Kasich having enough delegates between them to deny Trump a quick victory.

Tickets to Trump's rally Friday in Harrington are currently available on the Republican candidate's campaign website here. Tonight's event on the Eastern Shore of Maryland will be at 7 p.m. at Stephen Decatur High School in Berlin.

Proposed Roundabout for Wicomico County Intersection

There is a intersection in Salisbury off Route 50 that has several roads leading into it and 12 traffic lights regulating it.

Mount Hermon Road, Long Avenue, Truitt Street, East Williams Street, and Main Street all intersect at one central location.

People in the community have mixed feelings about the intersection. Some say it should be left alone because it regulates traffic just fine while others say it is a nuisance.
