Sanders, Clinton to Hold Events in Wilmington, Del.

WILMINGTON, Del. - Following Republican Presidential Candidate Donald Trump's visit to Harrington, Delaware on Friday, the Democratic side of the race has announced events planned in the First State.

The Bernie Sanders and Hillary Clinton presidential campaigns each announced Friday the candidates will be appearing in Wilmington, Delaware ahead of Tuesday's primary election.

Sanders, a U.S. Senator from Vermont, will hold a rally at the Chase Center on Riverfront in Wilmington, according to his campaign website. The event is free and open to the public, but his campaign said RSVPs are strongly encouraged. The Chase Center on Riverfront is located at 815 Justison Street, Wilmington, Delaware. Sanders' campaign said the center is accessible via the DART bus system. To RSVP for the event, click here.

Democratic front runner Hillary Clinton's campaign announced late Friday that she, too, would be holding a rally in Wilmington on Monday. That event will be at the World Cafe Live at the Queen at 500 N. Market Street in Wilmington. Doors open at 9:15 a.m., but the campaign says the event is scheduled to start at 11:15 a.m. This event is also free and open to the public. To RSVP for this event, click here.
