Salisbury Woman Arrested for Attempted Arson

SALISBURY, Md. - A Salisbury woman was arrested after reports that she threatened to burn down a home with people inside, police said.

According to the Wicomico County Sheriff's Office, Starr Renee Boone, 22, of Salisbury, was arrested around 2:13 p.m. Monday. According to police, Boone went to a home in the 27000 block of Edgewood Circle, pulled a gas can out of her car and began pouring the gasoline around the house in what was seen as an attempt to burn the house down while people were inside.

Boone is charged with threats of arson and attempted arson. She was released from Wicomico County Detention Center on $100,000 bond.
