OC Police: Teen Hit by Car While Crossing Coastal Highway

OCEAN CITY, Md.- Ocean City police say a 19-year-old woman from New Jersey is in critical condition after being struck by an SUV on Coastal Highway.

Police said the victim was struck at around 10:20 p.m. Friday, when she was crossing Coastal Highway at 127th Street against the pedestrian signal.

The victim was taken to Peninsula Regional Medical Center in Salisbury where she was listed in critical condition and later transferred to Shock Trauma in Baltimore.

Her name has not yet been released. No other information is available at this time.
