WILMINGTON, Del. (AP) - Delaware regulators have seized documents from an adolescent substance abuse clinic as part of an ethics inquiry after a counselor was accused of covering up a sexual relationship with a teenage patient.

Crossroads of Delaware President Alberta Crowley said officials from the state Division of Professional Regulation came to her Wilmington office Wednesday to collect the records of her daughter Rebecca Adams, whose employment ended after the allegations surfaced.

Adams was arrested in August on 12 counts of fourth-degree rape and other charges involving a sexual relationship with a 16-year-old patient.

Crowley says an ethics complaint against her says she should not have been managing her daughter as an employee and should have reported the allegations when she first heard them.
