Salisbury Man Arrested in 2013 Stolen Checks Case

SALISBURY, Md. - Police arrested a Salisbury man for felony theft and theft scheme, for allegedly writing and cashing checks from someone else's checkbook at Salisbury-area businesses in 2013.

On May 14 at 12:25 a.m., a Wicomico County Sheriff's Deputy located Marvin Thomas Walker, 43, of Salisbury and took him into custody. According to the Sheriff's office, warrants were issued for Walker dating back to the incidents, but he wasn't located until now.

The total amount from the cashed checks totaled $2,400, according to the Sheriff's Office.

Walker is being held at the Wicomico County Detention center in lieu of $15,000 bond.
