Man Found Critically Injured in his Parked Car in Smyrna Dies

SMYRNA, Del. (AP) - Delaware State Police say a man found critically injured in his car in Smyrna in April has died.
    
Troopers said in a news release Friday that 63-year-old James Leager of Clayton died Tuesday at Bayhealth Kent General Hospital.

Police said troopers were called to a home in the 700 block of Blackbird-Greenspring Road in Smyrna on April 27  for a report of an unconscious man in a car parked on the property. Police said Leager had obvious signs of injury to his body and was treated on scene before being taken to a local hospital in critical condition.   

No arrests have been made. The incident remains under investigation.
