HURLOCK, Md.- There is a bump in the road in the town of Hurlock in Dorchester County.  Last month, work began on replacing the failing water main underneath Main Street.

A month and a half later, the road is still a mess, with some locals frustrated with the lack of progress.  Others in the town say a few months of inconvenience is worth it to have clean water.

"It's worth it to get this fixed because we haven't been able to use the water for drinking purposes or for something as simple as haircuts because of the cloudiness and the debris that's in the bottom of it.  We've essentially had to bring our own spring water in," said Jennifer Knopp of Hurlock.

Some final work on the water main is still being finished up.  The street will be repaved once that work is complete in Hurlock.
