DOVER, Del. - Dover Police are investigating a robbery at a Dover Royal Farms and are hoping newly-released surveillance photos can lead them to an arrest.

Police said around 3:15 Tuesday morning, a man walked into the Royal Farms on S. DuPont Highway and asked for a carton of Newport cigarettes. As the clerk put the carton in her hands, police said the man tried to snatch them away, so a struggle ensued. Police said that's when the man jumped the counter and took three cartons of cigarettes and took off in a tan- or gold-colored Ford Taurus on Route One.

The suspect is described as a black male, about 6′ tall, late 20's-early 30's, with dread locks that are shoulder length.
