Pizza Delivery Driver Robbed in Magnolia

MAGNOLIA, Del.- Delaware State Police are looking for three suspects wanted for holding up a pizza delivery driver late Sunday night in Magnolia.

Police said that shortly after 10:20 p.m. troopers were dispatched to the area of Millchop Lane and Peachtree Run for a robbery of a 22-year-old male pizza delivery man, employed by Papa John’s Pizza.

According to investigators, the driver attempted to deliver a pizza to an address on Fox Hollow Drive and found that the address did not exist. He stopped at another address on Fox Hollow Drive and spoke to the resident. The homeowner confirmed that he did not order a pizza. Troopers said that as the driver began to leave the neighborhood to make his next delivery, he reached the intersection of Fox Hollow Drive and Fox Run Drive where he was approached by three suspects that confirmed they had ordered the pizza. Police said one of the suspects produced a handgun while another was holding a baseball bat. The three suspects demanded money and the victim’s cellphone, troopers said. The victim complied and handed over money and his cellphone.

The armed suspect then punched the victim’s face before all three suspects ran in a westbound direction on Fox Hollow Drive, according to police. The three suspects then ran in a westbound direction on Fox Hollow Drive. The victim was not injured in the incident, police said. 

Investigators said the first suspect is described as a black male, approximately 6-foot-tall,  200 pounds, 25-30 years of age,  dark skin, with his face covered and armed with an unknown handgun. The second suspect is described as a black male, approximately 5-foot-4, 175 pounds, 25-30 years of age and armed with a baseball bat. The third suspect is described as a black male, approximately 5-foot-4, tall, 175 pounds and 25-30 years of age.
