Dover Man Arrested for Child Sexual Abuse

DOVER, Del. - Police have arrested a 39-year-old Dover man accused of sexually abusing a child over the course of seven years.

According to Dover police, a 14-year-old girl reported that Roberto Escobar-Arcos first sexually abused her at the age of 8, and continued to do so for about seven years.

Escobar-Arcos was arrested without incident at his workplace on June 14 and charged with first-degree rape, continuous sexual abuse of a child, sexual abuse by person of trust, and four counts of unlawful sexual contact. He is being held on $140,000 secured bond.

    Historic Seaford Diner Torn Down

    One of the last remaining 1950's diner cars on Delmarva is now nothing but rubble.

    The Seaford Eagle Diner was ripped down Tuesday morning so the owners can re-build a new restaurant on site. Owner Serkan Darilmaz says the diner was in such bad shape that renovating it would've come at an astronomical cost.
