WICOMICO COUNTY, Md.  - Wicomico County's voting machines have a new home, and will soon be joined by the entire county Board of Elections.

Last month, county leaders and library board of trustee leaders were at odds over the storage of the county voting machines.  County Executive Bob Culver wanted to store the machines on the bottom floor of the library.  But library leadership declined because the space is always in use for different programs.

Wednesday, Culver told WBOC the machines will be moved to the former Shinn's Paint building on Snow Hill Road.  The county purchased the building and machines will be stored there by the beginning of July.  Culver said the Board of Elections will move to the Snow Hill Road location at the beginning of the new year.
