Suspects Sought in Armed Robbery at Ocean City Hotel

OCEAN CITY, Md.- Police are asking for the public's help to locate three suspects wanted for an armed robbery at the Tidelands Caribbean Hotel in Ocean City.

According to Ocean City police, the robbery happened Tuesday at the hotel, located at 409 Atlantic Ave. Police say the suspects hit the victim with an expandable baton and displayed a silver, revolver-style handgun with a wooden handle.

Police provided the following descriptions of the suspects:

Suspect 1: White male with short, dark hair, in his late teens to early 20s, with a thin build. At the time of the incident, he was wearing a backpack.

Suspect 2: Black male with short dreadlocks, in his late teens to early 20s with a thin build. At the time of the incident, he was wearing a white T-shirt with a South Carolina Gamecocks emblem.

Suspect 3: White male with shoulder-length dark hair and a larger build. At the time of the incident, he was wearing a maroon T-shirt with a Kutztown University emblem.

Anyone who recognizes any of the suspects or has information about the robbery is asked to contact Detective Nick Simpson at (410) 520-5349 or email ornsimpson@oceancitymd.gov. Citizens may also visit oceancitymd.gov/police to submit a tip. All tips may remain anonymous.
