Salisbury Police Make Arrest After Shots Fired

SALISBURY, Md.- Salisbury police made an arrest late Sunday night after several witnesses saw a man shooting a gun in the air. Police said 37-year-old Jaquai Onley of Salisbury taken into custody after officers were called to the 300 block of Delaware Avenue for shots fired.

Police said several witnesses saw Onley firing a gun in the air multiple times. Officers said it was determined Onley was firing the gun from the rear yard of 300 Delaware Avenue and was seen going inside the home. 

Onley was arrested without incident according to police, and no one was injured from the gunshots. Onley was transported to the Wicomico County Detention Center, were he awaits an initial appearance. 

According to police, a search warrant was obtained for 300 Delaware Avenue, which is also Onley's home. A gun was seized from that location, police said.
