HARRINGTON, Del.- Delaware State Police have released the name of the driver killed in a crash late Friday night south of Harrington.
Police said it happened around 11:05 p.m., as a 2003 Cadillac CTS was traveling west bound on Williamsville Road east of Gun and Rod Club Road.

Troopers said that for unknown reasons, the driver lost control of the car and it began to spin off the road. Police say the car then rolled several times, ejecting a man from inside, who was later pronounced dead at the scene. Troopers have identified the man as Kevin J. Dredden, 43 of Seaford.

Shortly after the crash, witnesses said they saw a man walking away from the scene. According to police, the witnesses made contact with the man who said he was involved in the crash and was going home.  Police say the man was last seen walking westbound on Williamsville Road.

At this time, police are not yet sure if Dredden was the driver or a passenger of the vehicle. The Delaware State Police Collision Reconstruction Unit continues to investigate this crash. Alcohol and speed are believed to be factors, according to investigators.
Williamsville Road was closed in the area of the crash for approximately three hours during the on scene investigation.
If anyone has witnessed or may have any information in reference to this incident they are asked to contact Cpl./3 J.
