OCEAN CITY, Md.-  The boardwalk was packed as ever Monday afternoon.  Thousands were here to spend time with family, and hopefully watch some fireworks.  The Bagnalls are one such family.

"We're probably going to Mickey Fins if it doesn't rain and watch the fireworks," said Hunter Bagnall.

They were dining at the Reel Inn, where owner Scott Lathroum says it has been a good weekend despite the weather.

"I think we've had a good weekend.  Here we've had a good weekend, I would think Ocean City has too.  The weather has been good enough, and they started arriving Thursday, that seems to be the trend now, Thursday through Sunday.  I'm very happy with it," said Lathroum.

He's not the only one working today.

"July Fourth I work the day, and I have every day for the past 19 years.  As a matter of fact I work every day," said Gene Brewis.

He's been hoping that the rain will pass us by.

"We've had rain enough.  You'd thought we had enough rain, but he keeps throwing it down," said Brewis.

The grill will be a gathering point for the Morgans Monday night.

"We're just having a cook out.  Family and friends will come over, and sit around on the deck and not worry about any of the traffic in Ocean City," said Savanna Morgan.

"I was in it yesterday and it was horrible.  It took so long and I hated it.  We're just going to have a cook out and watch the fireworks," said Betty Morgan.

One of the millions partaking in hotdogs and hamburgers nationwide.
