DOVER, Del.- The Delaware State Fire Marshal's Office is investigating a trailer fire in Dover.

It happened around 6:45 a.m. on Glenn Street. The Dover Fire Department was alerted to a working trailer fire with a possible person trapped inside.

Due to the proximity, Dover Air Force Base Emergency Services were also dispatched. Crews were able to put the fire out quickly as an exhaustive search was being performed. No one was found inside, and according to the Dover Fire Department, the homeowner was later found staying at a local hotel.

After an extensive overhaul, the scene was placed under control and turned over to Delaware State Police and the State Fire Marshal's Office for investigation.
