Man Airlifted From Ocean City Following Surf Accident

OCEAN CITY, Md.- A man was airlifted from Ocean City Monday after being tossed around in the surf.

Ocean City Fire Department and EMS responded around 3:15 to the beach near English Towers on 100th Street  to reports of a 60 year old man who had facial abrasions, a sore neck, and tingling in his arms.  The man had to be pulled from the surf by lifeguards. 

The man was taken from the beach by ATV, and then taken by ambulance to Northside Park where he was flown to Shock Trauma in Baltimore.

The man's condition is unknown at this time.
