WILMINGTON, Del. (AP/WBOC)- A man has been arrested after police say he put a camera in the women's restroom of a Moe's Southwest Grill in Wilmington.
Delaware State Police Master Cpl. Jeffrey Hale said that 29-year-old Luis Eduardo Lopez was arrested Tuesday and charged with five counts of invasion of privacy. He was released on $10,000 unsecured bail.
Hale says the small digital camera was discovered by a restaurant employee and reported to police. The camera was turned over to State Police, and the major crimes unit investigated.
The employee who found the camera told police the device was "placed in such a position as to be able to capture images of women using a specific toilet."
The investigation led to Lopez's arrest. Lopez is a former employee of the restaurant.
It's unclear if Lopez has an attorney.
