Masked Man Holds up Ellendale Dollar General

ELLENDALE, Del.– Delaware State Police are asking the public's help in identifying a man wanted for robbing the Ellendale Dollar General store at gunpoint late Wednesday evening.

Police said the incident occurred shortly before 11 p.m. when the man, who was armed with a handgun, entered the Dollar General store, located at 18036 Beach Highway. Troopers said the man approached two male employees as they were closing the business, forced them back inside, and demanded cash.  The clerks complied and turned over an undisclosed amount of mney.  The subject then fled the business in an unknown direction.  The employees were uninjured in this incident, police said. 

The suspect was additionally described as between 5-foot-10 and 6-foot-2, average build, wearing all dark colored clothing with a mask over his face.
