OCEAN CITY, Md.- Maryland State Police say troopers arrested a Pennsylvania man for DUI and related charges after the car he was driving struck a school bus on the Route 50 Harry W. Kelley Memorial Bridge in Ocean City.

Authorities said that at around 7 a.m. Wednesday, 21-year-old Kyle Kenney, of Orrtanna, Pa., was merging lanes in his Lincoln sedan, before colliding with a school bus, driven by 53-year Donald Moore, of Berlin, Md. The bus was carrying two children on board, ages 7 and 8.

Police said both vehicles had minor damages, with no injuries to the drivers or young passengers. Troopers said they took Kenney into custody for DUI after he failed a sobriety test. Police said that once taken into custody, Kenney became enraged and assaulted one of the responding troopers. He has been charged with second-degree assault, resisting arrest, disorderly conduct, driving under the influence, driving under combined influence and negligent driving.

Kenney was ordered to be held $5,000 bond in the Worcester County Jail
